Future Plans

Lots of big ideas abound!

First, a deck for the South side! It will be a great area for watching the sunrise and sunset, for breakfasts and suppers, and beautiful fresh clean air. Not to mention a little wildlife watching!

Next, that big white barn! Wouldn't it be great to have it all finished up and ready for larger groups and larger activities? For quilt sized tables for basting, and full sized quilt frames for quilting?

And of course, gardening! Alice loved her flowers and we can't wait to get more of the landscaping finished, and have a nice little kitchen garden so our ladies can get their vegetables!

Nature trails and hayrack rides will also be available, as well as opportunities for the kids to come stay, with their parents or in a group, and enjoy the simple pleasures of haybale forts and bug chasing.

History

We started renovating Alice's Little Blue House in 2005 and had our first guests in April of 2006. Since then we've had several groups of quilters come enjoy the opportunity for a peaceful get-away.
